Objective: To study the constituents from Chimonanthus salicifolius and their antioxidant activities. Method: Constituent isolation and purification was carried by kinds of column chromatography
and their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral data analysis. ABTS method was used to evaluate the free radical scavenging activity of the isolated compounds. Result: Seven compounds (1-7) were isolated and their structures were identified as follows: scopoletin (1)
scopoletin-7-O-β-D-glucoside (2)
kaempferol-3-O-β-D-glucoside (3)
kaempferol-3-O-β-D-rutinoside (4)
kaempferol (5)
quercetin (6)
emodin-8-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (7). The compounds 1
