Application of Germ-free Animal Models in Sepsis and Traditional Chinese Medicine Research:A Review
- “Aseptic and humanized animal models, combined with cecal ligation and puncture (CLP)/lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induced endotoxemia/live bacterial challenge induction methods, fecal microbiota transplantation, and single/combined colonization, can be used to test causal relationships, analyze microbiota host interactions and drug mechanisms, and introduce their research progress in the field of sepsis. The research team has established an integrated evaluation system of microecology epigenetics immune organ outcomes, providing a convertible pathway for precise prevention and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and microbiota.”
