Objective: To investigate the influence of Bansizuo prescription on nitric oxide and gastrin of blood serum in experimental rats with gastric ulcer and to search out the possible mechanism of cure gastric ulcer Method: The experimental gastric ulcer model in rats was induced by acetic acid and water immersing excitability. Result: Bansizuo prescription could reduce obviously the ulcer area in rats of acetic acid model and the ulcer index in rats of aqueous extract excitability model (P<0.01). It could bring down the nitric oxide and gastrin in serum of experimental rats to near normal level (P<0.01). Conclusion: Bansizuo prescription can repaire stomach mucosa damage to withstand gastric ulcer
