progestin (P) and estrogen (E2) were detected. Result: ImT of antenatal mice was prolonged

and the levels of P and E2 were higher compared with those of the normal mice. Baochan Wuyou powder could not only shorten ImT

but also decrease the levels of P and PRL(P<0.05). Conclusion: Baochan Wuyou powder can regulate the serum hormone levels in antenatal mice by decreasing PRL and P levels. It is possibly one of mechanisms for Baochan Wuyou powder to show a good antidepressant effect on antenatal mice.
