Results:1.The new vessels in membrana synovialis of Yiqi Tongbi Mixture-treated rats were all conspicuously decreased compared with model group (P<0.05); 2.The radiology change of joint in treated group were improved. 3.The active expression of VEGF and MMPs in serum of model group was obviously stepped up

while the expression of Yiqi Tongbi Mixture-treated group was down-regulated.Conclusion:Yiqi Tongbi Mixture can improve CIA rats' joint pathological changes and radiological changes

and to restrain the angiogenesis of CIA rats' membrana synovialis by decreasing the expression of VEGF and MMPs in serum.
