Objective: To determine the content of aloe-emodin
rhein
emodin
chrysophanol and physcion in Yankening Tablets by HPLC. Method: Using Kromasil C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm)
the methanol(A)-0.1%phosphoric acid (B)was used as the mobile phase. Using gradient elution

85%~90% A. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. The column temperature was 25 ℃ and the detection wavelength was 254 nm. Result: The linearity of this method were for 0.016-0.0960 mg

0.036 4-0.218 4 μg for chrysophanol
0.015 6-0.093 6 μg for physcion. There coveries of aloe-emodin

respectively. Conclusion: This method was rapid
accurate and can be used as one kind of Yankening Tablets’ quality control method.
