Objective:To develop a sensitive and specific HPLC method for controlling the quality of Rukuaixiao tablets.Methods:The fingerprinting analysis of Rukuaixiao tablets was carried out on an Eclipse XDB-C18 column(4.6 mm × 250 mm

5 μm)with methanol and containing water solution as mobile phases in a gradient mode.The flow rate was 1 mL·min-1

the column temperature was(30 ℃)

and the detection wavelength was 280 nm.Result: 28 characteristic peaks were found among 12 batches of samples and four peaks of them identified by being compared with the retention time and the UV spectra of reference substances.Conclusion: The method is accurate and reliable with high specificity and can be used for the quality control of Rukuaixiao tablets.
