Objective:To observe the influence of Tiaozhiling on experimental Hyperlipidemia of rats
and compare the effects of Tiaozhiling extracted with different techniques. Methods:SD male rats were randomly divided into four groups
normal group
hyperlipidemia model group
treated group and positive group. The general situation was observed and changes of TG
TC
LDL-C
HDL-C level in both blood serum and liver were tested. Results:After 14 days
the TG
TC
LDL-C levels of model group are much higher than the normal group.Compared with the model group
the TG
TC
LDL-C levels of the treated group are lower. The livers of all animals of the model group and some treated group are stiffer
and the color showed canary yellow. Conclusion:Both the water extracting and the mixed extracting Tiaozhiling are effective in decreasing the TC
TG
LDL-C levels of the experimental hyperlipidemia in rats. These results and chemical analysis provide the evidence for selecting different extracting techniques.
