Objective:To develop a method for the determination of hyodeoxycholic acid in Porcine Gall Powder.Method:Chromatography was performed on a 5 μm Kromasil C18(4.6 mm×250 mm)at 25℃.The mobile phase was composed of acetonitrile-0.1% acetic acid solution (50∶50)with a flow rate of 1.0mL·min-1.A Sedex 55 evaporative light-scattering detector was used with tube temperature of 40℃ and gas pressure of 2.0 bar.Result:A good relationship between peak area and amount of injection Was noted at 5.4 μg~27.0 μg.Average recovery of hyodeoxycholic acid was 97.0%and the RSD was 2.7%.Conclusion:It was proved that the method was reliable
