Using semi-in vivo experiment method

we studied the effect of Fufangdanshwenfang on platelet aggregation and adhesion

TXA2 and PGI2 in normal rabbits.The results demonstrated that:given orally

both aspirin(4.4mg/kg) and Fufangdanshwenfang as different dosages(1.2

4.8g/kg) could markedly counteract ADP inducing platelet aggregation and inhibit platelet adhesion in normal rabbits.Moreover

aspirin could decrease the content of TXA2 in plasma

and Fufangdanshwenfang(4.8g/kg)could markedly raise the content of PGI2 in plasma.Both aspirin(4.4mg/kg)and Fufangdanshwenfang of different dosages had little effect on the proportion of TXA2 and PGI2 in plasma.The results suggested that the inhibition effect on platelet aggregation and adhesion of Fufangdanshwenfang was closely related to its promotion effect on the release of PGI2 in normal rabbits.
