Objective: To establish HPLC method for the content determination of ginsenoside Rg1 and ginsenoside Re in Renshen Guben Capsules. Method: A Hypersil ODS2 C18 column (4.6 mm×150 mm
5 μm) was used and acetonitrile-0.05% phosphoric acid (19.3: 80.7) as the mobile phase. The detection wavelength was set at 203 nm. The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1. Result: The calibration curves of ginsenoside Rg1 and ginsenoside Re were linear in the range of 0.216-5.400 μg (r=0.999 4) and 0.212-5.300 μg (r=0.999 8) respectively. The average recoveries were 98.53% (RSD 1.10%) for ginsenoside Rg1 and 98.36% (RSD 1.35%) for ginsenoside Re. Conclusion: The established method is simple
rapid
specific and accurate; it can be used as quality control of Renshen Guben Capsules.
