Objective: To establish the HPLC fingerprint method of Curcuma aromatica
for its quality control. Method: Agela Promosil C18(4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm) column was used and eluted with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.5% acetic acid solution in a gradient mode
the flow rate was 1.0 mL ·min-1
column temperature was 30 ℃.The detection wavelength was at 250 nm
the analytical time was 65 min. 10 batches of Curcumae Aromatica Radix were detected
the similarity evaluation and system cluster analysis were conducted for the Curcumae Aromatica Radix different origin. Result: The HPLC fingerprint of Curcumae Aromatica Radix was established. 12 common peaks were indentified in the fingerprint. The similarity comparison indicated that the similarities were all over 0.90. The 10 batches of Curcumae Aromatica Radix from different regions can be divided into 3 categories by the hierarchical cluster analysis. Conclusion: The method is simple
rapid
accurate and can be used for quality control of Curcumae Aromatica Radix.
