      摘要:Objective: To study in vitro release difference of oil-in-water microemulsion cataplasm and conventional cataplasm to liposoluble components from Euodiae Fructus. Method: According to ratio of Euodiae Fructus extract-isopropyl myristate-propylene glycol-ploysorbae 80-hydrogenated castor oil-water (0.3: 0.6: 3.6: 3.6: 3.6: 18) for preparing oil-in-water microemulsion,then microemulsion was added to matrix for preparing microemulsion cataplasm.In vitro diffusion method was adopted to determine in vitro cumulative permeation quantity of evodiamine and rutaecarpine in cataplasm. Result: Cumulative permeation quantity per unit area at 24 h of evodiamine and rutaecarpine in Euodiae Fructus oil-in-water microemulsion cataplasm were 1.86,1.40 times to conventional cataplasm,respectively. Conclusion: Release performance of liposoluble components from Euodiae Fructus in microemulsion cataplasm is better than those in conventional cataplasm,which is suitable for preparation of water-insoluble ingredients cataplasm.

      摘要:Objective: To discuss effect of forsythoside A (FTA) on efflux function and mechanism of P-glycoprotein(P-gp) in Caco-2 cell membrane. Method: Caco-2 cell viability was measured by resazurin assay in the presence of FTA at different concentrations.Effects of FTA and verapamil (inhibitor of P-gp) on cellular drug accumulation in caco-2 cells were investigated,rhodamine 123 (R-123) measured by flowcytometer,was selected as fluorescent probe.Caco-2 cell membrane were exposed to FTA with different concentrations and then ATPase activity of P-gp was assayed. Result: Viability of cells treated by FTA (1-80 mg·L-1) was above 90%,difference was not statistically significant by compared with the negative group,which suggested that Caco-2 cells could maintain their viability under these experiment conditions.Fluorescence intensity of FTA significantly increased by comparing with the blank group,Rh-123 accumulation reached maximum levels of (223.43±5.6)% when the concentration of FTA was 80 mg·L-1.FTA treatments decreased P-gp ATPase activity in Caco-2 cell membranes expressing P-gp. Conclusion: FTA can modulate drug efflux by inhibiting P-gp activity in Caco-2 cell membrane.

      摘要:Objective: To optimize extraction process of volatile oil from Clerodendrum mandarinorum leaves,and analyze its chemical components. Method: On the basis of single factor tests,the amount of water,soaking time,distillation time and ultrasonic time was optimized by orthogonal test.Chemical components in volatile oil were analyzed by GC-MS,the relative content of each component was determined by peak area normalization method. Result: Optimum extraction technology conditions were as follows:soaked in 12 times the amount of water for 12 hours,distilled for 10 hours,ultrasonic time of 80 min.Yield of volatile oil was 0.332%.Fifty-nine compounds were separated and fifty-three of them were identified accounting for 95.14% of the total content.Chemical components were 1-octen-3-ol(19.020%),linalool(12.981%),phytol(11.768%),2-hexenal(9.911%),alpha-pinene(6.681%),whose relative mass fractions were greater than 5%. Conclusion: Orthogonal test can accurately select extraction process of volatile oil from C. mandarinorum leaves,this process is reasonable with high efficiency.Main components of volatile oil are aliphatic hydrocarbons,terpenes and their derivatives.

      摘要:Objective: To reveal processing mechanism of Sojae Semen Praeparatum by monitoring dynamic change of microbe species in its fermentation process. Method: Biolog microbial identification system was used to identify dominant bacteria,moulds and yeasts,which isolated from Sojae Semen Praeparatum at different fermentation time points of fermentation process. Result: Bacillus subtilis was dominant bacterium in the whole fermentation process.Dominant microorganisms were B. subtilis,B. amyloliquefaciens,Aspergillus flavus,A. parasiticus and Debaryomyces hansenii C in the 3 th day of fermentation.Dominant microorganisms were B. subtilis,Staphylococcus sciuri,Acinetobacter radioresistens,Enterococcus casseliflavus,A. parasiticus,D. hansenii C,Rhodotorula acheniorum and Trichosporon beigelii A in the 6th day of fermentation.Dominant microorganisms were B. subtilis,Escherichia hermannii,A. niger and R. acheniorum in the 3 th day of 'secondary fermentation'.Dominant microorganisms were B. subtilis,Klebsiella oxytoca,Cryptococcus marinus and C. laurentii,no mould appeared in the 15th day of 'secondary fermentation'. Conclusion: Dynamic changes of microbial flora occurs in the whole fermentation process.B. subtilis is dominant bacterium in the whole process.

      摘要:Objective: To prepare Sanzi cataplasm and optimize its formulation,then evaluate its in vitro release. Method: Based on single factor tests,taking overall desirability of quick stick power,shear strength and sensory evaluation as index,central composite design-response surface methodology was used to optimize matrix formulation of Sanzi cataplasm.In vitro release of Sanzi cataplasm was evaluated by using sinapine thiocyanate and rosmarinic acid as indexs. Result: Optimal formulation of Sanzi cataplasm was as follows:1.85 g of Viscomate NP-700,0.6 g of Plasdone K-90,0.13 g of dihydroxy aluminum,2 g of kaolin,0.08 g of tartaric acid,0.02 g of EDTA,10 g of glycerol,3.5 g of Sanzi extract.Sanzi cataplasm had suitable adhesion,no sticking residue,good paste character and skin adhesion.Average contents of sinapine thiocyanate and rosmarinic acid were 0.748,0.282 mg·cm-2,respectively.In vitro release of sinapine thiocyanate and rosmarinic acid were zero-order kinetics,their release rates were 37.91,14.30 μg·cm-2·h-1,respectively. Conclusion: This optimized formulation of Sanzi cataplasm is reasonable with good paste property and release performance.

      摘要:Objective: An ion chromatography method for simultaneous determination of six inorganic anions(fluoride, formic, chloride, nitrite, bromide and nitrate) in Danshen injection was established. Method: Six inorganic anions were determined by anion exchange column Ion Pac AS11-HC(4 mm×250 mm), eluted by gradient hydroxide potassium. Result: Good resolution can be achieved among the above mentioned six inorganic anions.Their linear correlations over the investigated concentration were in the range of 0.999 5-0.999 9, while the average recoveries ranged from 90.1% to 106.5%, respectively. Conclusion: The ion chromatography method is fast, accurate, simple, reliable and applicable for the determination and quality control of inorganic anions in Danshen injection.

      摘要:Objective: To establish an HPLC multi-wavelength method for determination of mangiferin, paeoniflorin, prim-O-glucosylcimifugin, iquiritin, 5-O-methylvisamminol, isoliquiritoside and glycyrrhizic acid in Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu Tang. Method: Zorbax SB-C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) was eluted with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.01% formic acid water in a gradient mode. The flow rate was 1 mL·min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 250 nm (mangiferin), 237 nm (paeoniflorin, prim-O-glucosylcimifugin, glycyrrhizic acid), 280 nm (iquiritin, 4'-O-β-glucopyranosyl-5-O-methylvisamminol), and 355 nm (isoliquiritoside). The column temperature was maintained at 30 ℃. Result: Mangiferin, paeoniflorin, prim-O-glucosylcimifugin, iquiritin, 5-O-methylvisamminol, isoliquiritoside and glycyrrhizic acid had a good linearity within the ranges of 0.264 8-2.648(r=0.999 9), 0.81-8.10(r=0.999 8), 0.230 4-2.304(r=0.999 9), 0.173-1.73(r=0.999 9), 0.115-1.15(r=0.999 8), 0.028 4-0.284(r=0.999 8), 0.252 4-2.524 μg(r=0.999 9), with the recoveries between 97.41%-102.0% and RSD<3.0%. Conclusion: This method is simple, accurate and highly reproducible and can provide basis for studying material base of Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu Tang.

      摘要:Objective: To study on the conformation characteristics of Sophora alopecuroides (SAPS), its solutions under different conditions and its in vitro anticoagulant activity. Method: The Congo red analysis was used to study the conformation characteristics of SAPS. The changes in SAPS conformations were analyzed by circular dichroism (CD) under different conditions, such as concentration, temperature and adding calcium ions. Finally, the anticoagulant activities of SAPS in vitro was determined. Result: The Congo red analysis showed red shift in the maximum absorption wavelength of SAPS complex. The conformations of SAPS were affected by the changes in the concentration, temperature and metal ions. SAPS with different substitution degrees showed varying degrees of anticoagulant activities. Conclusion: SAPS is a triple helical polysaccharide. Its conformation in solution can be affected by the changes in the concentration, temperature and metal ions. The anticoagulant activities strengthen with the increase in the substitution degree of sulfate radicals.

      摘要:Objective: To establish an HPLC fingerprint of Poria and make the principal component cluster analysis, in order to provider the effective and reliable experimental basis for its quality control. Method: The HPLC analysis was performed on a CAPCELL PAK C18 MGⅡS5 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) with the column temperature at 25 ℃. The mobile phase was water containing 0.1% phosphoric acid and acetonitrile in the gradient mode. The detection wavelength was set at 242 nm. All data was analyzed by the SPSS statistical software. Result: The common mode of HPLC fingerprint was established, and the cluster analysis and principal component analysis (PCA) were applied to study the HPLC fingerprint and chemical pattern recognition. Conclusion: The combination of fingerprint and chemical pattern recognition is an effective method for the quality control of traditional Chinese medicinal materials and can reflect the comprehensive information of Poria and provide the scientific experimental basis for evaluating Poria.

      摘要:Objective: To establish an ultra performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) method for the simultaneous determination of five lignans (schisandrin, schizandrol B, schisantherin A, deoxyschizandrin and schisandrin B) in Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus and Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus, and compare the contents of lignans in Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus and Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus from different origins. Method: The chromatographic separation was performed on Waters Acquity UPLC BEH C18 (2.1 mm×50 mm, 1.7 μm) with the mobile phase of acetonitrile and water at a flow rate of 0.4 mL·min-1. The detection wavelength was 235 nm, the column temperature was 45 ℃, and the injection volume was 1 μL. With the contents of the five lignans as the evaluation index, the clustering analysis was used to identify the species of Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus and Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus. Result: Within the analytical time of 10 minutes, the five lignans showeda good separation and linear relationship at a range of 0.001-0.222 μg, with correlation coefficients of more than 0.999 8.Their average recoveries ranged between 97.7% and 105.1% (RSD<3.0%). The contents of five lignans were significantly different in Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus and Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus. Moreover, the cluster analysis results also indicated that they could be classified into two groups. Conclusion: The method is highly reproducible, accurate and sensitive and so can provide reference for the classification and quality control of Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus and Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus.

      摘要:Objective: To investigate the active components in Lonicerae Japonicae Flos for scavenging DPPH free radicals. Method: The HPLC fingerprints were developed and merged. Meanwhile, the DPPH radical scavenging equation was established. The bivariate correlation analysis was applied to correlate the scavenging DPPH Free radical parameter IC50 and the standardized peak area ratio of common peaks of HPLC fingerprints. Result: The changes in the contents of common peaks 4 (chlorogenic acid), 10 (isochlorogenic acid B) and 12 (isochlorogenic acid C) show significant negative correlation with DPPH free radical scavenging activity. Conclusion: The chromatography-efficacy relation between the HPLC fingerprints and the DPPH free radical scavenging activity provides a certain reference value for the basic study on medicinal material base of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos.

      摘要:Objective: To establish a system on the quality assessment of Rose oral liquid on the combination of chemical pattern recognition. Method: Selecting the infrared spectrograms of 11 batches of Rose oral liquid and 4 kinds of counterfeit to analysis, the primary peaks were deciphered, obtained the fingerprint infrared spectrum, Moreover, according to transmittance of the different characteristic absorption peaks, the similarity was calculated, the consistency of the infrared spectrograms of 11 batches of Rose oral liquid and 4 kinds of counterfeit was investigated by similarity. The fingerprints were obtained and were handled by hierarchical clustering analysis and principal component analysis. Result: The results showed that the infrared spectrograms of 11 batches of Rose oral liquid for were not only in good agreement, but also Rose oral liquid and counterfeit could completely be distinguished by similarity analysis and chemical pattern recognition, and the result of similarity was the same as cluster analysis or principal component analysis, the two methods of chemometrics showed good correlation. Conclusion: The method was convenient for differentiation of counterfeit and applicable to quality evaluation of Rose oral liquid.

      摘要:Objective: To establish an HPLC method for simultaneously determining eight ginsenosides and analyze their distribution in entire plant of Panax ginseng. Method: Discovery C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) was adopted with the mobile phase of acetonitrile (A) and water (B) by the gradient elution. The flow rate was 1 mL·min-1, and the detection wavelength was at 203 nm. The RP-HPLC method was established for simultaneously determining Rg1, Re, Rf, Rb1, Rc, Rb2, Rb3, Rd in bud, leaf, stem, root top, rootlet, fibrous root, and cork layer, phloem, xylem of six-year-old ginseng plants. Result: The established method had a good practicable reproducibility and solution stability and separated eight components beyond the baseline, with a wider linear range and good linear relationship (r>0.999). The recoveries ranged from 98% to 102%. Conclusion: The distribution of eight ginsenosides in entire plant of ginseng was studied for the first time. The established method can be applied to simultaneously determine eight ginsenosides, with the maximum content in fibrous roots and buds and the minimum content in stems. Ginsenosides of main roots are mainly distributed in the cork layer.

      摘要:Objective: To observe correlation between contents of volatile oil,bornyl acetate and altitude in Valeriana officinalis var. latifolia roots from Guizhou province,and provide a scientific basis for selection of its cultivation area. Method: Volatile oil in V. officinalis var. latifolia roots was extracted by steam distillation method.The content of bornyl acetate was determined by gas chromatography (GC).Correlation between contents of volatile oil,bornyl acetate and altitude was analyzed by SPSS 17.0 software. Result: Contents of volatile oil and bornyl acetate from different altitudes had significant differences.The average content of volatile oil was 2.20%,its amplitude was 1.34%-3.60%,volatile oil content in most samples was decreased with increasing of altitude.The average content of borneol acetate was 50.29%,its amplitude was 29.64%-64.87%,the content of borneol acetate substantially decreased with increasing of altitude,but it had no significant correlation. Conclusion: Altitude is closely related to the content of volatile oil in V. officinalis var. latifolia roots from Guizhou province,which suggests this herb should be cultivated within lower altitude area.

      摘要:Objective: To identify Lonicerae Japonicae Flos from different areas by determination of index ingredients and DNA molecular markers. Method: High performance liquid chromatography method was used for determination of chlorogenic acid,galuteolin and macranthoidin B.Genomic DNA was extracted from control medicinal material of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos and Lonicerae Flos,as well as samples of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos from Hebei and Shandong,samples were identified by allele-specific diagnostic polymerase chain reaction (PCR) based on sequences of internal transcribed spacer. Result: The content of chlorogenic acid in samples from Heibei and Shandong was 3.1%-3.3%.The content of galuteolin in samples from Hebei and Shandong were 0.049%-0.050% and 0.069%-0.078%,respectively.Macranthoidin B was not detected in samples from both areas.Samples from both areas were identified as Lonicerae Japonicae Flos by diagnostic PCR. Conclusion: As a supplement to conventional methods,for identification of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos,DNA molecular technology has a great advantage in accuracy and good reliability.

      摘要:Objective: To establish characteristic fingerprint of volatile oils from Pilea aquarum by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry to determine the antimicrobial activities of volatile oils. Method: Chemical components of volatile oil from ten batches of P.aquarum were analyzed by GC-MS method, the common model and similarity of the TIC profiles were analyzed by “Computer Aided Similarity Evaluation System”, and the components of common characteristic peaks in chromatograms were identified. Antimicrobial activities of volatile oils were tested by filtering paper method. Result: Fingerprint of volatile oils from P.aquarum were established, sixteen characteristic peaks in GC-MS specific chromatogram of volatile oils from P.aquarum were identified and defined. The results also showed that the volatile oils of P.aquarum showed a cetain effect against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis. Conclusion: With a good reproducibility, the established characteristic fingerprints of volatile oil from P.aquarum can be used for quality control and provide important basis for application of volatile oils from P.aquarum.

      摘要:Objective: A HPLC method was established for the determination of chlorogenic acid, geniposide, luteolin, baicalin, phillyrin and wogonin in Qingrejiedu capsules. Method: Eclipse XDB column (4.6 mm×150 mm,5 μm) was adopted and eluted in gradient with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.4% phosphoric acid solution. The flow rate was 0.80 mL·min-1. The detection wavelength was set at 275 nm. Chlorogenic acid, geniposide, luteolin, baicalin, phillyrin and wogonin could be completely separated from adjacent mass spectra peaks. Result: The HPLC method showed a good linear range of 7.83-313 mg·L-1 (r=0.999 9) for chlorogenic acid, 4.30-132 mg·L-1(r=0.999 8) for geniposide, 0.836-33.5 mg·L-1(r=0.999 7) for luteolin, 4.36-349 mg·L-1 (r=1.000 0) for baicalin, 0.731-58.4 mg·L-1(r=0.999 7) for phillyrin and 0.314-12.6 mg·L-1 (r=0.999 7) for wogonin, with the recoveries above 98%. Conclusion: The method is simple, accurate and highly reproducible and so can be used to remove interferences from other components and evaluate the quality control of the preparation.

      摘要:Objective: To investigate effect of vinegar-baked Bupleuri Radix on distribution of gentiopicroside in mice,and discuss liver induced mechanism of vinegar-baked Bupleuri Radix. Method: Male mice were divided into four groups,including gentiopicroside control and gentiopicroside coadministered with three different doses of vinegar-baked Bupleuri Radix.Samples were collected at time points of 0.08,0.25,0.5,0.75,1,1.5,2,4 h,6 mice were used in every time point.Samples were detected by HPLC-MS/MS.Targeting effect of different tissues of vinegar-baked Bupleuri Radix on gentiopicroside was evaluated through parameters of relative tissue exposure (Re) and relative targeting efficiency (RTE). Result: Three different doses of vinegar-baked Bupleuri Radix could increase RTE of gentiopicroside in liver.RTE values of the low,medium and high dose groups in liver were 0.25,0.13 and 0.33.Although uptake of gentiopicroside in liver was not increased,vinegar-baked Bupleuri Radix could decrease distribution of gentiopicroside in other tissues except liver significantly. Conclusion: Vinegar-baked Bupleuri Radix,the meridian guide drug,can increase RTE of liver by reducing distribution of gentiopicroside in other tissues except liver.

      摘要:Objective: Geniposidic acid (GPA) can promote bile acid excretion,its metabolism process difference was studied in cholestatic model for development clinical role. Method: Rats were divided into the normal group and the cholestatic model group induced by α-naphthyl isothiocyanate (ANIT,dose of 100 mg·kg-1), different doses of GPA were administered (high,medium and low doses of 100,50,25 mg·kg-1).GPA and chlorogenic acid were extracted from plasma by protein precipitation,separated on phenomenex C18 column with a mobile phase of acetonitrile and water containing 0.5% acetic acid with rate of (28: 72),detection wavelength was at 238 nm.Stata12.0 was adopted to fit compartment model and calculate pharmacokinetic parameters. Result: ANIT cholestasis model made a success rate of more than 95%.Compared with the normal group,rat with cholestasis model might reduce Ke and increase T1/2 of GPA in vivo,and might extend the mean residence time (MRT0-t) in vivo,also might improve AUC0-t and AUC0-∞. Conclusion: This analytical method is suitable and reliable for in vivo analysis of GPA,cholestasis model can reduce elimination and excretion of GPA.

      摘要:Objective: To observe the changes in intestinal epithelial microvillus of functional diarrhea spleen deficiency symptom model rats after the treatment with Pixu Ⅳ recipe. Method: Totally 36 male healthy rats were divided into the normal group, the model group, Pixu Ⅳ recipe high, medium and low doses groups (4.6, 2.3, 1.2 g·kg-1) and the positive Smecta (0.9 g·kg-1) group. The high fat sucrose diets and the water environment small platform standing method were adopted to establish the diarrhea model. After the successful modeling, the rats were orally given drugs for 7 days. The transmission electron microscopy was used to observe the effect of Pixu Ⅳ recipe on the microstructure in intestinal epithelial microvillus. Result: The normal group showed neat and even microvilli. The model group showed small changes in microvilli of the jejunum mucous membrane;significant changes in microvilli of ileum mucous membrane, with uneven microvilli of ileum mucous membrane and low electron density under electron microscope(×25 000),serious damages in proximal and distal colons, particularly uneven, thin and irregular microvilli and more secreted vesicles under mucous membrane. All of the above phenomena were relieved to varying extent after the intervention with Pixu Ⅳ recipe and positive drugs. The Pixu Ⅳ recipe low dose group showed the most significant relieve, which was close to the normal group;the Pixu Ⅳ recipe high dose group was next to it,whereas the Pixu Ⅳ recipe medium dose group and the positive drug group showed no significant difference. Conclusion: The diarrhea model established with the high fat sucrose diets and the water environment small platform standing method shows no significant morphologic change in epithelial cell microvilli of jejunal mucosa and gradually obvious morphologic changes and damage degree from ileum, proximal colon to distal colon,the changes became more and more serious. Pixu Ⅳrecipe can relive the microstructure changes of the microvilli in the diarrhea rats, which are maked by the high fat sucrose diet and modified multiple platform method. The Pixu Ⅳ recipe low dose group showed the most significant relieve, which was followed by the Pixu Ⅳ recipe high dose group.

      摘要:Objective: To investigate the preliminary mechanism and manifestations among the anti-drug compatibility of which Pinelliae Rhizoma weakened the anti-inflammatory effects of Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix. Method: Sixty-four SD rats were randomly divided into model group,prednisone group,Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix group,the Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix and Pinelliae Rhizoma compatibility 9:1 group, 3:1 group,1:1 group,1:3 group,1:9 group.The prednisone group was given at dose of 20 mg·kg-1 by gavage, the Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix group was given at dose of 0.6 g·kg-1 by gavage,the Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix and Pinelliae Rhizoma compatibility 9:1 group, 3:1 group,1:1 group,1:3 group,1:9 group were given at dose of 0.67,0.8, 1.2,2.4,6.0 g·kg-1by gavage, the model group were treated with the same volume's physiological saline for 7 days.An hour after administration on the 7th day, the egg-white was injected into the rats right paw to establish the egg-white induced rat paw edema model. Rat's tail vein injection of Evans blue (EB),and determination of tissue EB, serum interleukin-1 (IL-1), prostaglandin E2(PGE2),tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) content by ELISA,study the difference of paw swelling degree,vascular permeability and the release of inflammatory mediators between Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix and different proportions of Pinelliae Rhizoma.By GraphPad Prism 5 software to do a four-parameter fit equation of Hill,and judge the impact indicators which was more closely related to paw swelling. Result: Compared with the model group,Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix group,Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix and Pinelliae Rhizoma compatibility group could significantly reduce the extent of rat's paw edema and the EB content in tissue,and the content of IL-1,PGE2,TNF-α in serum.The Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix group compared with the Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix and various proportions of Pinelliae Rhizoma compatibility group,Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix group showed the strongest anti-inflammatory action(P<0.05).The Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix and Pinelliae Rhizoma compatibility group (9: 1,3: 1,1: 1,1: 3,1: 9) of anti-inflammatory effects was weakened in turn of the increase of the amount of Pinelliae Rhizoma.The content of IL-1,PGE2,TNF-α in serum were in good correlation with the paw swelling,but the content of EB in the tissue was to the opposite. Conclusion: Pinelliae Rhizoma can reduces the anti-inflammatory activity of Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix,and the inhibitory effect increased with the amount gradually increase of Pinelliae Rhizoma. The content of PGE2 in serum had a better correlation with the degree of swelling,and are directly involved in inflammatory reaction medium,so it can be the indicator of Pinelliae Rhizoma which weakens the anti-inflammatory effect of Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix.

      摘要:Objective: To study the effect of phenolic alkaloids of Menispermum dauricum (PAMD) on the action potential in papillary muscles of guinea pig and dominant pacemaker cells of rabbit sinoatrial nodes. Method: Capillary grass microelectrode was used to record the paction potential in papillary muscles of guinea pigs, study the effect of different concentrations (1, 3, 10 μmol·L-1) of PAMD on action potential duration (APD), effective refractory period (ERP), maximum upstroke velocity (Vmax), amplitude (APA) and overshoot (OS). Capillary grass microelectrode was also used to record the paction potential in dominant pacemaker cells of rabbit sinoatrial nodes and study the effect of different concentrations (1, 3, 10 μmol·L-1) of PAMD on APD, maximal diastolic potential (MDP), APA, Vmax, rate of pacemaker firing (RPF), and velocity of diastolic (phase 4) depolarization (VDD). Result: According to the study for papillary muscle cells of right ventricular myocardia, PAMD can significantly prolong APD and ERP and delay Vmax in a concentration-dependent manner. PAMD also had a mild effect on the automatic rhythmicity of sinus nodes at concentration of 10 μmol·L-1, with a significant difference with the control group. Conclusion: PAMD have a stronger effect on ventricular muscles than sinoatrial nodes, suggesting that it has the potential to be prepared into an ideal drug for ventricular arrhythmia.

      摘要:Objective: To study the free radical scavenging capacity and antioxidant activity of total flavonoids of Saussurea involucrate in vitro. Method: Eight methods, namely the in vitro scavenging of 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical (DPPH·), 2,2-nitrogen based bis-(3-ethyl benzene and thiazole-6-sulfonic acid) diamine salt cation radical (ABTS+·), superoxide free radicals (O2-·), hydroxyl radical (·OH), nitric oxide (NO) and the determination of metal chelating capacity, reducing power and total antioxidant capacity, were adopted to evaluate the capacity of free radical scavenging capacity and antioxidant activity of total flavonoids of S. involucrate. Result: Total flavonoids of S. involucrate can effectively scavenge DPPH·, ABTS+·,·OH, NO at certain concentrations. Its 50% inhibition concentration(IC50) values for DPPH·, ABTS+·,·OH, NO were 52.52, 71.71, 60.38, 203.95 mg·L-1, respectively, and its IC50 for O2-·was 271.06 mg·L-1,which was less than vitamin C(VC,380.10 mg·L-1),and its concentration of half metal chelate was 184.52 mg·L-1. Moreover, it also had a certain reducing power and total antioxidant capacity. Conclusion: Total flavonoids of S. involucrate has a strong free radical scavenging capacity and antioxidant activity in vitro and are type of natural antioxidant substances with a high research value and potential.

      摘要:Objective: To compare the effect of different extraction fractions from compound Yuxingcao on the renal injury and some genes in the JAK/STAT pathway in db/db mice, and further investigate its mechanism in preventing and treating diabetic nephropathy. Method: Eight-week-old db/m and db/db mice were divided into seven groups:the db/m mice normal group, the db/db mice model group, the JAK enzyme inhibitor-treated group (AG490,1 mg·kg-1), the compound Yuxingcao ether extracted fraction (SYM) group, the ethyl acetate extracted fraction (YSYZ) group, the n-butyl alcohol extracted fraction (ZDC) group and the water extracted compound (ST) group, orally administered with drugs for 8 weeks (7.8 g·kg-1). The changes in urinary albumin (Alb), 24 h urine protein quantitation, blood glucose, aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), fibronectin (FN) were measured. The changes in JAK2mRNA, STAT1mRNA, STAT3mRNA and SOCS-1mRNA in nephridial tissues were detected by RT-PCR. Result: Compared with the normal group, the model group showed significant increases in Alb, 24 h urine protein quantitation, blood glucose, FN (P<0.05). Compared with the model group, urinary Alb, 24 h urine protein quantitation and FN had different degrees of relieves. Compared with the ST group, the ZDC group was better than other extracted fraction groups, particularly in urinary Alb and FN (P<0.05). Compared with the model group, the STAT1mRNA expression in AG490, SYM, YSYZ and ZDC groups were significantly lower (P<0.05);the SOCS-1mRNA expression in ZDC and ST groups were higher (P<0.05). However, JAK2mRNA and STAT3mRNA expressions in all treatment groups had no significant difference. Conclusion: Compound Yuxingcao can reduce urinary Alb, 24 h urine protein quantitation and FN excretion. Its n-butyl alcohol extracted fractions show a better effect than other extracted fractions, and can regulate the gene expressions related to JAK/STAT-SOCS1 and relieve the diabetes kidney injury.

      摘要:Objective: To study the effect of Yishen Daluo decoction on phosphated c-Jun N-terminal kinase 1 and 2 (p-JNK1/2), c-Jun N-terminal kinase 1 and 2 (JNK1/2) and cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) in mice with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). Method: Totally 48 female SJL mice (aged 8-12 weeks) were randomly divided into 4 groups, the normal group, the model group, the Chinese medicine (CM) group and the Western medicine (WM) group, with 12 mice in each group. Each mouse in model, CM and WM groups was injected subcutaneously with 200 μL antigen emulsion [including 150 μg proteolipid protein(PLP)139-151 and 400 μg H37 Ra] at two sites of epigastrium on the first day,100 μL Bordetella pertussis liquid (containing 6×105 B.pertussis) was injected to each mouse by caudal vein at the 1st and 3rd days. At the 7th day, 10 mL·kg-1 of saline was orally given to each mouse in normal and model groups, 20 g·kg-1of crude Yishen Daluo decoction was orally given to the CM group, and 3.9 mg·kg-1 of prednisone was orally given to the WM group for 15 days. After the immunization, the neurological score for each group was recorded every day. Western blot was used to detect the expressions of p-JNK1/2, JNK1/2 and COX-2 in cerebral tissues of EAE mice. Result: The neurologicalscore significantly increased in EAE mice of the model group compared with the model group (P<0.01). The expressions of p-JNK1/2 and COX-2 in the model group increased (P<0.01). Compared with the model group, CM and WM groups showed obvious decreases in the neurological score (P<0.05) and expressions of p-JNK1/2, JNK1/2 (P<0.05, P<0.01),and the WM group showed a lower COX-2 expression than the CM group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The JNK1/2 pathway and COX-2 are correlated with the onset of EAE. Yishen Daluo decoction can reduce the neurological score of EAE by decreasing the expressions p-JNK2 and COX-2.However, further studies shall be conducted for its specific mechanism.

      摘要:Objective: To study the protective effect of Jianpi Yangzheng Xiaozheng formula (JPYZXZF) on nephrotoxicity induced by cisplatin (CP) in mice and its possible mechanism. Method: Totally 40 BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 4 groups:the tumor-bearing group, the CP group, the JPYZXZF group and the CP+JPYZXZF group, with 10 mice in each group. Each group was orally given drugs for five days. BALB/c mice were injected with H22 cells to establish the tumor-bearing mice model and 20 mg·kg-1 cisplatin for one time to cause kidney damage. On the 10th day after the modeling, kidney index, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine (SCr) and kidney pathological changes were observed. The apoptosis of renal tissues of the mice and relevant protein expressions of PI3K/AKT signal pathway were examined by TUNEL and Western blot. Result: Compared with the tumor-bearing group, kidney indexes, SCr and BUN were significant increased in the CP group (P<0.05), with increase in apoptotic cells at renal tubules, down-regulation in the protein expressions of p-PI3K, p-AKT in renal tissues and up-regulation in Caspase-3 expression (P<0.05). Compared with the CP group, the CP+JPYZXZF group showed reduction in kidney indexes, SCr and BUN (P<0.05), damages of renal tissues and apoptotic cells at renal tubules, up-regulation in the protein expressions of p-PI3K, p-AKT in renal tissues and down-regulation in Caspase-3 expression (P<0.05). Conclusion: JPYZXZF can reduce the nephrotoxicity caused by CP. Its mechanism is ccorelated with the activation of PI3K/AKT signal pathway and the decrease in the protein expression of Caspase-3.

      摘要:Objective: To establish a collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) model of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) through plantar injection of bovine collagen Ⅱ and incomplete Freunds Adjuvant, in order to observe the effect of emodin from Polygoni Cuspidati Rhizoma et Radix(PCRR) on inflammation and neovascularization with corresponding indicators. Method: Wistar rats were randomly divided into 2 groups:the normal group and the model group. The model group was given the same amounts of bovine collagen Ⅱ and incomplete freunds adjuvant and then intradermally injected with 0.4 mL (containing 400 μg of collagen) of solution through plantar region. After 14 days, the same method (0.1 mL) was adopted for the plantar intradermal injection of additionally 0.1 mL of solution to induce inflammation and establish the model 20 days later. After the modeling, the model group was divided into the model subgroup, the emodin from PCRR subgroup and the dexamethasone acetate subgroup, with 10 in each group. Subsequently, the modin from PCRR subgroup was orally given 0.4 g·L-1emodin from PCRR (0.8 mg·kg-1, ig), while the dexamethasone acetate subgroup was orally given 0.75 g·L-1 dexamethasone acetate (7.5 mg·kg-1, ig). The two drugs were continuously used separately for 20 d,and the plantar thickness, claw X-ray, claws gross pictures, synovial HE staining of knee joint and ELISA were used for detecting rat serum tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) in serum. The immunohistochemistry was used to detect TNF-α and CD34 expressions of knee joint synovium, and the changes in the two targets were observed in modeled rats. Result: Compared with the normal group, the model group show significant increases in plantar thickness of RA rats (P<0.01) and TNF-α content in rat serum (P<0.01),after the administration, compared with the model subgroup, the emodin from PCRR subgroup and the dexamethasone acetate subgroup showed notable decreases in plantar thickness and TNF-α content in serum (P<0.05, P<0.01). According to X-ray result, the model subgroup showed discontinuous low-density shadows in plantar region, which were actually notable soft tissue swelling and suggested osteolysis phenomenon,and the normal group, the emodin from PCRR subgroup and the dexamethasone acetate subgroup showed no discontinuous low-density shadows, which suggested no notable soft tissue swelling and osteolysis phenomenon. According to the HE staining, the model subgroup showed plenty of inflammatory cell infiltration and pannus at knee joint synovium, the normal group showed no inflammatory cell infiltration and pannus, and the emodin from PCRR subgroup and the dexamethasone acetate subgroup showed only a little inflammatory cell infiltration and pannus. According to the immunohistochemical result, the model subgroup showed remarkable increases in TNF-α and CD34 expressions at knee joint synovium, whereas the emodin from PCRR subgroup and the dexamethasone acetate subgroup showed significant decreases in TNF-α and CD34 expressions. Conclusion: Emodin from PCRR can intervene RA by regulating two targets TNF-α and CD34 for the inflammation and neovascularization.

      摘要:Objective: To investigate the analgesic activity of four cardiac glycosides-cinobufagin, telocinobufagin, arenobufagin and periplocin and the analgesic mechanism of cinobufagin. Method: According to the requirements, the KM mice were divided into the blank group, the asprin positive group (200 mg·kg-1), and groups of high, medium and low dose of test compounds. The analgesic effects of the four cardiac glycosides in mice were observed by the hot-plate test and acetic acid writhing methods. Moreover, the potential analgesic mechanism of cinobufagin was preliminarily investigated by injecting naloxone hydrochloride (2 mg·kg-1) and peripheral opioid receptor antagonist naloxone methiodide (NAL-M, 20 mg·kg-1). Result: Compared with the blank group, all of the four cardiac glycosides can increase the pain threshold of paw-licking induced by hot plate (P<0.05, P<0.01) and decrease the number of writhing induced by acetic acid in mice (P<0.05, P<0.01). The intraperitoneal injection with naloxone hydrochloride and NAL-M can antagonize the increase in the pain threshold of paw-licking induced by hot plate (P<0.05, P<0.01). Conclusion: Cinobufagin, telocinobufagin, arenobufagin and periplocin have the analgesic effect, and the analgesic effect of cinobufagin may be correlated with the peripheral opioid receptor.

      摘要:Objective: To investigate the effect of Chaizhu Ningchang Fang(CZNCF)on 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) signal system of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) model rats. Method: Totally 60 male SD rats were randomly divided into the normal group, the model group, the dicetel group and CZNCF high, medium and low doses (2.5, 5, 10 g·kg-1) groups. The IBS rat model was established by means of composite stress. After the successful modeling, the rats were orally administered with drugs once a day for one week, and the normal group and the model group were given isovolumetric normal saline, in order to detect the semi-quantitative score in general state, abdominal withdrawal reflex (AWR) score and minimum volume threshold. The 5-HT level in rat serum, tryptophan hydroxylase1 (TPH1), 5-hydroxytryptamine transporter (SERT), 5-hydroxytryptamine 3 receptors (5-HT3R) and 5-hydroxytryptamine 4 receptors (5-HT4R) levels in colon were determined by ELISA. The mRNA expressions of TPH1, SERT, 5-HT3R and 5-HT4R were detected by RT-PCR method. Result: Compared with the normal group, the model group showed significant differences in all of semi-quantitative score in general state, AWR score and minimum volume threshold increase (P<0.01) and up-regulation in 5-HT in serum and TPH1, 5-HT3R in colon(P<0.05,P<0.01) and decrease in the levels and gene expressions of SERT and 5-HT4R in colon (P<0.05). Compared with the model group, CZNCF significantly decreased the concentrations of the 5-HT in serum, the level of TPH1 in colon, 5-HT3R level and gene expression in colon, and up-regulated SERT, 5-HT4R level and gene expression in colon (P<0.05). Conclusion: CZNCF may reduce the visceral sensitivity of IBS rats and relieve IBS symptoms by regulating multiple targets of the 5-HT signal pathway of IBS model rats.

      摘要:Objective: To study the effect of Curcumae Rhizoma oil on human osteosarcoma cell line saos-2, and discuss the change of the expression level of insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor (IGF-1R), protein kinase B (Akt) and B-cell lymphoma/leukemia-2 (Bcl-2). Method: The effects of Curcumae Rhizoma oil on the proliferation of osteosarcoma cell line saos-2 were detected by MTT assay. Cytometry was used to analyze cell apoptosis; expression of IGF-1R was detected by real-time PCR, and the expression of Akt and Bcl-2 was detected by western-blot. Result: Curcumae Rhizoma oil could obviously inhibit the growth of osteosarcoma cells and induce saos-2 cell apoptosis in a dose dependent manner. The expression of IGF-1R, Akt and Bcl-2 was down regulated in the curcumol-treated cells. Conclusion: Curcumae Rhizoma oil can inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis of saos-2 cells, and its antitumor effect is associated with suppressing the expression of IGF-1R, Akt and Bcl-2.

      摘要:Objective: To observe the effect of Xiaozhen Zhiyang sprays on mice in allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) and pruritus models, in order to preliminarily explore its action mechanism. Method: The Dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB) was used to sensitize and stimulate mice. Totally 40 ICR mice were randomly divided:the model group, the positive control Halcinonide cream group (0.01 g·kg-1) and Xiaozhen Zhiyang sprays high and low doses groups (1, 0.5 g·kg-1), with 10 mice in each group;and another ten unsensitized mice were included into the normal group. All treated groups were given externally with drugs on both sides of right ears of mice for continuously 15 days, and the normal group and the model group were respectively treated with blank matrix, in order to observe the scabbing conditions of mice' right ears. The central thickness of mice' right ears was measured by thickness tester. Both ears' weights were measured by electronic scale. The levels of interleukin-4(IL-4) and interferon-γ(IFN-γ) in serum were determined by ELISA method. The dextran was used to induce the pruritus model in mice. The ICR mice were randomly divided into the model group, the positive control Zhiyang spirits group and Xiaozhen Zhiyang sprays high and low doses groups, with 10 mice in each group. Each group was given drug for 3 d and subcutaneously injected with dextran 1 h later after the final administration, in order to observe the itching frequency within a certain period of time. Result: According to the effect of Xiaozhen Zhiyang sprays on ACD model mice, the number of scabs, ear thickness and mass and IL-4 in serum in the model group were higher than that in the normal group, with the statistical difference (P<0.01).The number of scabs, ear thickness and mass and IL-4 in serum were lower and IFN-γ in serum was higher in the Halcinonide group and Xiaozhen Zhiyang sprays high and low doses groups, with the statistical difference (P<0.05, P<0.01). The ACD model group showed mice's ear epidermis thickening, with mild intracellular edema and medium intracellular edema, plenty of mononuclear cellular infiltration at upper dermis, with lymphocyte as the dominance. All treated groups showed significant reduction in ear inflammatory infiltration in model mice. According to the effect of Xiaozhen Zhiyang sprays on pruritus model mice, the itching frequency were lower in all of the Halcinonide group and Xiaozhen Zhiyang sprays high and low doses groups than that in the model group (P<0.05,P<0.01). Conclusion: Xiaozhen Zhiyang sprays has a good therapeutic effect on mice in ACD and pruritus models.

      摘要:Objective: To observe the effect of Tongfengan liquid (TFAL) on hyperuricemia mice. Method: Totally 115 SPF-grade KM mice were divided into the blank group (the same volume of distilled water), the model group (the same volume of distilled water), the allopurinol group (40 mg·kg-1), the colchicine tablets group (0.25 mg·kg-1) and TFAL low, medium and high doses groups (8.45, 16.9, 33.8 g·kg-1), with 15 mice in each group. They were orally administered with drugs for 28 days. One hour after the last administration, the serum uric acid level, creatinine (Cr), urea nitrogen (BUN), interleukin-6(IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) contents and xanthine oxidase (XOD) activity levels were detected. Result: Compared with the normal group, the model group showed significant increases in hyperuricemia level, XOD activity and contents of Cr, BUN, IL-6 and TNF-α (P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the level of uric acid, XOD activity and contents of Cr, BUN, IL-6 and TNF-α in each TFAL group were significantly lower (P<0.01). Conclusion: TFAL has therapeutic and protective effects on hperuncemia mice.

      摘要:Objective: To explore the effect of salvianic acid A and tanshinone ⅡA on the mesenteric microcirculation disturbance. Method: Totally 40 SD rats were randomly divided into five groups:the normal group, the model group, the positive control Phentolamine group (10 mg·kg-1), the salvianic acid A group (30 mg·kg-1) and the tanshinone ⅡA group (30 mg·kg-1). Noradrenaline (NA) was given on mesentery to induce the local microcirculation disturbance. Drugs (salvianic acid A, tanshinone ⅡA, phentolamine or normal saline) were injected through sublingual veins. After 10 min, the mesenteric region that is 20 cm from the ileocecal region was dropped with 100 μL of NA solution (0.05 g·L-1). At 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30 min after the dropping with NA, the diameter of arterioles, blood flow pattern, capillary opening rate and recovery time of blood flow were observed by microscopy. Result: Compared with the normal group, the model group showed NA can significantly shrink mesenteric arterioles, increase blood flow pattern and recovery time of blood flow and reduce capillary opening rate, with statistical significance (P<0.01).Compared with the model group, salvianic acid A and tanshinone ⅡA can reduce NA-induced contraction of mesenteric arterioles in a certain extent, improve blood flow pattern, increase the opening rate of capillary network and shorten the recovery time of microcirculation disturbance. Conclusion: salvianic acid A and tanshinone ⅡA have the effect in improving NA-induced mesenteric microcirculation disturbance in rats.

      摘要:Objective: To explore the effect of Astragali Mongolici Radix and its active ingredient Astragali Mongolici Radix polysaccharideits on the expressions of homocysteine(Hcy), nuclear factor(NF-κB) and D-dimer(D-D) in heart failure model mice. Method: Totally 100 SPF male mice were divided into the normal group (20 mice) and the model group (80 mice) by random. The heart failure mice model was induced through the intraperitoneal injection with isoproterenol. After the successful modeling, they were randomly divided into the RA group (Astragali Mongolici Radix, 3 g·kg-1), the APS group (Astragali Mongolici Radix polysaccharideits, 3 g·kg-1), the positive medicine group (Digoxin, 0.05 mg·kg-1) and the model group, with 20 mice in each group. The RA group was orally given 3 mL·kg-1·d-1 Astragali Mongolici Radix extract liquid (1 g·mL-1);the APS group was intraperitoneally injected with 3 mL·kg-1·d-1 of Astragali Mongolici Radix polysaccharide;the positive drug group was orally given 0.05 mL·kg-1·d-1 of digoxin;the model control group was orally given 3 mL·kg-1·d-1 of sterile saline. All of them were treated for 4 weeks. After the experiment, their apex cordis and myocardial tissues were collected for pathological examination. The blood was drawn from abdominal arteries for detecting the expressions of Hcy, NF-κB and D-D. Result: The expressions of Hcy, NF-κB and D-D in the model group were higher than that of the normal group (P<0.05). According to the pathological results, the model group showed less myocardial fiber, lighter staining, vague bands and partial replacement of necrotic lesions with scar tissues. Compared with the model group, all of treatment groups showed obvious reductions in Hcy, NF-κB and D-D levels (P<0.05). The pathological results also showed significant reduction in necrotic lesions in apex cordis and myocardial tissues in all of treatment groups. Compared with the RA group and the Digoxin group, the APS showed more significant effects. Conclusion: Astragali Mongolici Radix and its active ingredient APS could obviously reduce the expressions of Hcy, NF-κB and D-D in mice with heart failure;but the latter drug has a better effect than the former.

      摘要:Objective: To observe the long-term toxicity of compound Lingzhi Jiangtang capsule after the six-month administration and the accumulative toxicity after the drug discontinuance. Method: Totally 120 clean-grade Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups:the normal group (equal volume of distilled water) and compound Lingzhi Jiangtang capsule high, medium and low doses groups (4.14, 2.07, 0.69 g·kg-1), with 30 rats in each group. Each group was intragastrically administered with drugs once every day for consecutively 180 days and then stopped giving drugs for one month for observation. The general status, haematological indexes: reticulocyte, erythrocyte total(RBC), blood platelet count(PLT), total hemoglobin(Hb), total white blood cells(WBC) and blood clotting time, blood biochemical indexes:alanine aminotransferase(ALT), aspartate amino transferase(AST), alkaline phosphatase(ALP), urea nitrogen(BUN), creatinine(Cr), blood glucose(GLU), total bilrubin(T-BIL), total protein(TP), total cholesterol(T-CHO), triglyceride (TG), γ-glutamyltransferase(γ-GGT) and creatine phosphokinase(CK), were measured, and heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney, adrenal gland, thyroid gland, testis, uterus, brain, prostate, ovarian, thymus and epididymis were weighed, in order to calculate organ coefficients. Subsequently, 25 organ tissues:pancreas, stomach, duodenum, ileum, colon, pituitary, spinal cord, sternum (bone and bone marrow), lymph nodes, bladder and optic nerve, were collected for a histopathologic examination, in order to evaluate the safety of long-term administration of compound Lingzhi Jiangtang capsule. Result: According to the result in the mid-stage of the experiment (90 days after the administration), the late stage of the experiment (180 days after the administration) and the recovery period (30 days of after the discontinuation), compared with the normal group, compound Lingzhi Jiangtang capsule groups showed no significant effect on the development, general situation, hematological indexes, blood biochemical indexes, organ coefficients and organ pathological morphology of rats. Conclusion: The long-term administration with high dose of compound Lingzhi Jiangtang capsule shows a very low toxicity, with no cumulative toxicity reaction after the discontinuation, and can be taken safe.

      摘要:Objective: To observe the effect of Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma polyphenols acid salt combined with adenosine cyclophosphate meglumine on symptoms, cardiac functions and hemorrheology of patients with coronary heart disease after the percutaneous coronary Intervention (PCI). Method: Totally seventy-eight post-PCI cases of coronary heart disease were randomly divided into 2 groups:the control group (routine postoperative therapy, 33 cases) and the treatment group (conventional therapy combined with intravenous dropping of 200 mg Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma phenolic acid salt and 120 mg adenosine cyclophosphate meglumine, qd, 45 cases). The treatment time lasted from 24 h before the surgery to 2 weeks after the surgery. The clinical efficacy and changes in heart function and hemorrheology were observed. Result: The symptoms were relieved. After the treatment, the two groups showed statistical significance in whole blood high shear viscosity, low shear viscosity, plasma viscosity, D-dimer, hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) compared with values before the treatment (P<0.05),and the treatment group is more obvious, with statistical significance in differences (P<0.05). Conclusion: Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma polyphenols acid salt combined with adenosine cyclophosphate meglumine can improve hemorrheology, clinical symptoms and cardiac function among of post-PCI patients with coronary heart disease.

      摘要:Objective: To analysis the effect of Duhuo Jisheng Tang on patella cartilage of chondromalacia of patella and interleukin-1 (IL-1), metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1), sulfate glycosaminoglycan (GAG) in patellar joint fluid. Method: The eighty-six cases of patella softening of the patients treated in our hospital were divided into the observation group (43 cases) and the control group (43 cases). The control group was treated with routine western medicines, while the observation group was treated with Duhuo Jisheng Tang for oral administration and local fumigation. The clinical therapeutic effect at all MRI grades of both groups were evaluated;at the same time, before and after the treatment, IL-1, MMP-1, GAG index levels in patients' patellar joint fluid were tested and analyzed. Result: The observation group showed the total effective rate of 88.37%, while the control group was 67.44%, with a statistically significant difference between both groups (P<0.05). In the observation group and the control group, patients with articular cartilage damage grade I and grade Ⅱ according to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed the total clinical effective rate higher than those with articular cartilage damage grade level Ⅲ and Ⅳ (P<0.05). After the treatment, the experiment group shower lower IL-1, MMP 1 indexes in joint fluid than that of the control group (P<0.05), but with the average GAG index higher than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Duhuo Jisheng Tang shows a better clinical curative effect than conventional western medicines in the treatment of chondromalacia of patella. It may recover and protect patella cartilage by regulating the expression of IL-1 in patellar joint fluid and inhibiting the activation of MMP-1 and the degradation of cartilage proteoglycan. At the same time, articular cartilage damage grade class I and class Ⅱ period according to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are the best period for clinical treatment.

      摘要:Objective: To investigate the efficacy of Jiawei Suanzaoren decoction combined with eszopiclone in treating anxiety insomnia and its effects on level on 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and dopamine (DA). Method: Totally one hundred and twenty cases of anxiety insomnia were randomly divided into two groups by the random number table, the control group and the observation group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with eszopiclone, while the observation group was treated with Jiawei Suanzaoren decoction combined with eszopiclone. The curative efficacy of anxiety insomnia, scores of manifest anxiety scale, serum 5-HT, DA and adverse reactions were observed and compared. Result: The observation group showed a total therapeutic efficiency ratio of 95.0%, which was significantly higher than that of 81.7% in the control group (P<0.05). In comparison with the control group, score of SAS, HAMA, 5-HT, DA substantially increased, with statistical differences (all P<0.05). As for the adverse reactions, incidence of bitter taste in mouth and sleepiness in the observation group was statistically lower than that in the control group (all P<0.05), with no statistical difference in incidences of nausea, constipation and dizziness between the two groups. Conclusion: Jiawei Suanzaoren decoction combined with eszopiclone in treating anxiety insomnia has a reliable efficacy, which can significantly increase the curative efficacy, alleviate anxiety emotion and regulate level of neurotransmitter, with lower incidence of adverse reactions. It is worth further studies in clinic.

      摘要:Objective: To study the clinical effect of Shengui Yixin decoction on patients with chronic heart failure and its effect on cardiac ultrasound index. Method: Totally one hundred and twenty-four cases of heart failure patients were divided randomly into the control group (n=50) and the treatment group (n=74) according to the odevity of their admission time. The control group received the therapies of removing inducing factors, adjusting lifestyle, providing psychological intervention for those with anxiety and depression and taking drugs, including diuretics, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors(ACEI) drugs, beta blockers, aldosterone receptor antagonist, angiotensin receptor antagorists(ARB), digoxin. The treatment group was given Shengui Yixin decoction for 4 weeks, 4 tablets/time, 3 times/day, with 2 weeks in 1 courses of treatment, in addition to the therapies of the control group. The therapeutic effect was evaluated by Lee's heart failure score, the N terminus natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), cardiac troponin (cTn) and galectin-3 were observed. The life quality was evaluated by the 36-item short form health questionnaire (SF-36) and the Minnesota living with heart failure quality scale (MLHFQ). The patients' cardiac output (CO), stroke volume (SV), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular end diastolic diameterleft (LVDD) and cardiac index (CI) were detected by ultrasound. Result: After the four-week treatment, the efficacy of the treatment group was significant statistically compared with the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the treatment group was significant statistically compared with the control group (P<0.05). NT-proBNP, cTn, galectin-3 and Lee score in the control group were significant statistically compared with that before the treatment (P<0.05). NT-proBNP, cTn, galectin-3 and Lee's score in the treatment group after the treatment were significant statistically compared with the control group before the treatment (P<0.05). SV, CO, LVEF, LVDD, CI in the control group were significant statistically compared with that before the treatment (P<0.05). SV, CO, LVEF, LVDD, CI in the treatment group after the treatment were significant statistically compared with the control group before the treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion: Shengui Yixin decoction can be used to treat chronic congestive heart failure (heart function grade Ⅱ-Ⅲ) caused by coronary heart disease and hypertensive heart disease, improve the quality of life, enhance myocardial contractility, reduce myocardial cell damage and delay ventricular reconstruction.

      摘要:Objective: To observe the therapeutic efficacy of Yinxie capsule combined with Pyrithione Zinc aerosol in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris and its effect on hemorheology and serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), interleukin-8(IL-8), matrix metalloproteinases-2(MMP-2), matrix metalloproteinases-9(MMP-9). Method: Altogether 130 patients with psoriasis vulgaris were divided into the control group and the observation group by random number table, with 65 patients in each group. The control group was treated by spraying Pyrithione Zinc aerosol, three times/d. In addition to the therapy of the control group, the observation group also took Yinxie capsule, 4 capsules, tid. The course of treatment were 8 weeks for two groups. psoriasis area and severity index(PASI), visualanaloguescale(VAS) and dermatology life qualityindex(DLQI) were scored in both groups before and after the treatment. The hemorheology and serum TNF-α, IL-8, MMP-2, MMP-9 were detected before and after the treatment. Result: The markedly effective rate of the observation group was 89.23%, which was superior to the control group (73.85%, P<0.05). After the treatment, the scores of PASI, VAS and DLQI in the observation group were obviously lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The hemorheological indexes of the observation group were superior to that of the control group after the treatment (P<0.05). The serum TNF-α,IL-8, MMP-2 and MMP-9 in the observation group were lower than that of the control group after the treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion: Yinxie capsule combined with Pyrithione Zinc aerosol in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris is more effective than the simple use of Pyrithione Zinc aerosol. Its mechanism may be correlated with the reduction in plasma viscosity and serum TNF-α, IL-8, MMP-2 and MMP-9.

      摘要:Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Tianning decoction in the treatment of migraine with Yin defieiency and Yang hyperativity syndrome. Method: Altogether 64 eligible migraine patients with Yin defieiency and Yang hyperativity syndrome were randomly divided into the treatment group (Tianning decoction group) and the control group (Flunarizine group). Each group included 32 patients and continuously treated for 8 weeks. The clinical efficacy was evaluated on the basis of the headache index score and the change in the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome score. Result: After the treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.8%, and that of the control group was 84.3%, indicating an obvious superiority between them (P<0.05). The intra-group comparison in the headache attack frequency and headache days score between the two groups before and after the treatment showed differences with statistical significance (P<0.05, P<0.01). After 8 weeks of the treatment, the inter-group comparison in scores between the two groups showed statistical significance (P<0.05). The inter-group comparison in the headache score between the two groups before and after the treatment decreased to varying degrees (P<0.05, P<0.01), with an obvious superiority in the treatment group to the control group (P<0.05). The TCM symptom score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group after the treatment (P<0.05).The score of the control group also decreased, but with no statistical significance. The inter-group comparison showed a superiority in the treatment group to the control group after the treatment (P<0.05). The accompanying symptoms (nausea, vomiting, photophobia, tears) were relieved in both groups after the treatment, with statistical significance in difference (P<0.05, P<0.01).And the treatment group was superior to the control group in some accompanying symptoms (P<0.05). Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of Tianning decoction is obviously superior to western medicine Flunarizine, and so can be used as a safe and effective drug for migraine.

      摘要:Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Xuanfei Pingchuan decoction for oral administration combined with asthma I formula for acupoint sticking and iontophoresiss in treating child asthma (intermingled cold and heat symptoms) and their effect on interleukin-4 (IL-4), γ-interferon (IFN-γ) and immunoglobulin E (IgE). Method: Totally 110 patients with bronchial asthma (intermingled cold and heat symptoms) were divided into the control group (55 cases) and the observation group (55 cases) by random number table. The control group orally took Xuanfei Pingchuan decoction. The observation group received acupoint sticking and iontophoresiss of Xuanfei Pingchuan decoction. The course of treatment was 2 weeks for both groups. The time of cough, wheeze and pulmonary wheezing extinction time were recorded. Before and after the treatment, lung function, peak expiratory flow (PEF), specific value of the first second forced expiratory volume and forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC) were detected. The control of asthma was evaluated by asthma control questionnaire (ACQ). Serum IL-4, IFN-γ and IgE were detected before and after the treatment. Result: The obvious effective rate was 92.73% in the observation group, which was superior to 78.18% in the control group (P<0.05). The extinction times of coughing, wheezing and lung wheezing sound in the observation group were obviously shorter than that in the control group (P<0.01). After the treatment, PEF and FEV1/FVC in the observation group were higher than that in the control group (P<0.01). After the treatment, serum IL-4 and IgE in the observation group were lower than that in the control group, but with higher IFN-γ than the control group (P<0.01). According to the chi-square test, the asthma controlling effect in the observation group was better than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The curative effect of Xuanfei Pingchuan decoction for oral administration combined with asthma I formula for acupoint sticking and iontophoresiss in treating child asthma (intermingled cold and heat symptoms) is superior to that of the simple administration of traditional Chinese medicine. Its mechanism may be related to the regulation in immune system disorders and the reduction in inflammation reactions.

      摘要:Objective: To observe the therapeutic efficacy of Huoxue Tongluo decoction combined with Huoluo theray in the treatment of nerve-root type cervical spondylosis (Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome) and its effect on serum interleukin-1β(IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), interleukin-6(IL-6). Method: Totally 200 patients with nerve-root type cervical spondylosis were divided into the control group (101 cases) and the observation group (99 cases), respectively by random number table. The control group orally took Gentongping pellet, 2 bags/time, 2 times/d. The observation group was treated by Huoluo therapy, 1 time/d, 7 times/course, with an interval of one week between two courses;Meanwhile, it also orally took Huoxue Tongluo decoction, 1 dose/d. The course of treatment were 4 weeks for both groups. visual analogue scale(VAS) score and visual analogue scale(CASCS) score were recorded for both groups. Serum IL-1β, TNF-α and IL-6 were detected before and after the treatment. Result: The total effective rate of treatment and control groups was respectively 90.1% and 73.27%, with a significant difference between them (P<0.05). After the treatment, VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.01), while CASCS score in the observation group was obviously higher than that of the control group (P<0.01). After the treatment, high shear, median shear, low shear and plasma viscosity in the observation group was obviously lower than that of the control group (P<0.01), with significant differences in high shear viscosity of blood and plasma viscosity (P<0.01). Serum IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6 in the observation group were lower than that of the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion: Huoxue Tongluo decoction combined with Huoluo therapy in the treatment of nerve-root type cervical spondylosis (Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome) shows a significant clinical efficacy. Its mechanism may be correlated with the improvement of hemorheology and the reduction in serum IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6.

      摘要:Objective: To observe the short-term effects of addition and subtraction of Mahua Fuzi Xixin Tang combined with Yaosiwei in treating senile lumbocrural pain. Method: Totally 137 patients were divided into the control group (67 cases) and the observation group (70 cases) by random number table. The control group took Duzhong Zhuanggu capsules, 4 grains/time, 3 times/day. The observation group received the therapy of addition and subtraction of Mahua Fuzi Xixin Tang combined with Yaosiwei, 1 dose/day. The courses of treatment were 4 weeks in both groups. Before and after the treatment, short form-McGill pain questionnaire (SF-MPQ), Oswestry disability index (ODI), World Health Organization's quality of life questionnaire-Brief version (WHOQOL-BREF), activity of daily living (ADL) and scores of kidney yang insufficiency and cold dampness syndrome were measured. Result: Before and after the treatment, both groups showed declines in all SF-MPQ dimensions (P<0.01).All SF-MPQ dimensions in the observation group were lower than that in the control group (P<0.01). After the treatment, the scores of SF-MPQ, ODI, kidney yang insufficiency and cold dampness syndrome in the observation group were lower than that in the control group (P<0.01), with a higher growth in ADL score than the control group (P<0.01). After the treatment, the observation group showed higher WHOQOL-BREF scores in physical, psychological and social dimensions and total score than the control group (P<0.01), but with no statistical significance in differences in environment scores between the two groups. Conclusion: Addition and subtraction of Mahua Fuzi Xixin Tang combined with Yaosiwei can relieve pain of patients with senile lumbocrural pain, ameliorate their conditions and improve their viability and quality of live, with an obvious short-term effect.

      摘要:Objective: To observe the effect of Xiaoshuan Changrong capsule on hemorheology and coagulation function in patients with Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis type cerebral ischemic stroke. Method: Totally eighty patients with Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis type cerebral ischemic stroke were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given the conventional therapy;while the observation group was given Xiaoshuan Changrong capsule, 0.4 g once, three times daily, in addition to the therapy of the control group. Both groups were treated for 30 days. Before and after the treatment, nerve function defect scale (MESSS), modified barther index(MBI) were assessed, and hemorheological indexes (whole blood viscosity high shear, low shear, plasma viscosity, hematocrit(HCT),fibrinogen(Fib),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR), coagulation indexes [prothrombin time(PT), activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT), platelet oggregation rate(PAR) and D-dimmer] and therapeutic indexes (infarct volume, MESSS score and MBI) were monitored. Result: Before the treatment, hemorheological indexes [whole blood viscosity high shear, low shear, plasma viscosity, HCT, Fib and ESR), coagulation indexes [PT,APTT,PAR and D-dimmer) and therapeutic indexes (infarct volume, MESSS score and MBI) showed no significant differences between both groups, with the comparability. After the 30-day treatment, total efficiency in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05),and hemorheology indexes, coagulation indexes and therapeutic effect indexes in the observation group were superior to that in the control group (P<0.05, P<0.01), with no obvious adverse reaction in the observation group. Conclusion: Xiaoshuan Changrong capsule is safe and effective in treating cerebral ischemic stroke. Its action mechanism may be correlated with the improvement in blood rheology and anticoagulant function.       摘要:Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Baiji Kanglao gel combined with chemotherapeutic drugs on cavitary pulmonary tuberculosis and extra pulmonary tuberculosis. Method: Totally eighty-seven cases of cavitary pulmonary tuberculosis and extra pulmonary tuberculosis treated in our hospital from January 2011 to January 2013 were divided randomly into the research group (44 cases) and the control group (43 cases) according the visiting sequence. Both groups were treated with standard chemotherapy regimen of 3DLZVATH/15DLVTH. In addition to the chemotherapy, the research group was treated by Baiji Kanglao gel. The differences in the sputum negative conversion rate and lesion cure rate between both groups after being treated for 3, 12 and 18 months were compared. Result: The sputum negative conversion rates of the research group after being treated for 3, 12 and 18 months were 47.73%, 75.00% and 84.09% respectively, which were higher than the control group (27.91%, 51.16% and 60.47%). The significant differences were only found in the 12th and 18th months (P<0.05). The lesion effective rate and the cavity effective rate of the research group in the 12th and 18th months were significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in fever, expectoration, cough and hemoptysis between the two groups before the treatment, but with significant lower values in the research group than the control group after the treatment (P<0.05). The total effective rate in the research group was 95.45%, which was significantly higher than 70.07% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Baiji Kanglao gel combined with conventional chemotherapeutic drugs has a significant effect in treating cavitary pulmonary tuberculosis and extra pulmonary tuberculosis by enhancing the tuberculosis negative conversion rate, relieving clinical symptom of patients and increasing the treatment effect.

      摘要:Objective: To conduct a Meta-analysis on clinical study literatures for the effect of spleen invigorating and Qi replenishing therapy in treating dysfunctional uterine bleeding, in order to evaluate its efficacy and provide basis and clinical reference for traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) therapies in treating dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Method: PubMed, CBM, CNKI database were searched through computer to collect spleen invigorating and Qi replenishing therapy for dysfunctional uterine bleeding in randomized controlled trials. Two researchers independently selected literatures, extracted data and conducted a Meta-analysis according to the study method recommended by RevMan5.3 software. Result: Totally 11 study literatures involving 1 077 cases were selected, including 569 cases in the test group and 508 cases in the western medicine control group. According to the result of the Meta-analysis, the groups were subdivided by outcome indexes. The comparison between TCM and western medicine groups in the TCM syndrome efficacy showed[OR=3.64, 95%CI(2.02,6.59), Z=4.28, P<0.000 01],the comparison between both groups in the overall menstruation efficacy showed[OR=3.78, 95%CI (2.49, 5.74), Z=6.24,P<0.000 01],and the comparison between both groups in the recent hemostatic efficacy showed[OR=1.47, 95%CI (0.55, 3.93), Z=0.77, P=0.44]. Conclusion: The spleen invigorating and Qi replenishing therapy showed a certain clinical efficacy in treating dysfunctional uterine bleeding and so can be used as a clinical therapeutic option. However, due to the low quality of the included literatures, there is still certain publication bias. The above results shall be further proved on the basis of the evidence-based medicine in high-quality clinical studies in the future.

      摘要:Objective: To probe into the correlation of Qi-meridian disharmony and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1)/Smads signaling pathway activation in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Method: Literatures were searched to define the Qi-meridian concept. On the basis of the pathogenetic concept of 'lung deficiency and meridian stasis' for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis came up by Professor LYU Xiao-dong, we proposed that Qi-meridian disharmony is one of the pathogenesis of IPF. Based on the Qi-meridian-NEI theory proposed by Professor WU Yi-ling, there is a high correlation and internal consistency among Qi-meridian and nerve-endocrine-immune network, and neurotransmitters, hormones, cytokines, other information molecules and their receptors are the biological basis of Qi-meridian at the molecular level. The correlation between Qi-meridian disharmony and TGF-β1/Smads signal transduction pathway activation was studied based on the structure, function and pathogenesis of Qi-meridian and cell signal transduction pathway. Result: Qi-meridian is distributed throughout the body in a topological structure, which is similar with the cell signal transduction network structure. Qi-meridian carries Qi, blood and body fluid, transfers organism information through signal transduction pathways in a two-way manner, with similar functions in positive or negative feedback and regulation. Sputum, deficiency, blood stasis caused by Qi-meridian disharmony are similar to the inflammatory and extracellular matrix caused by the TGF-β1/Smads signaling pathway activation. And the pathogenic Qi enters through Qi-meridian layer by layer, which is similar to the gradual activation of TGF-β1/Smads signaling pathway. The action mechanism of Yiqi Tongluo traditional Chinese medicine compound in the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is correlated with the inhibition of TGF-β1/Smads signal transduction pathway. Conclusion: Qi-meridian disharmony is correlated with the activation of TGF-β1/Smads signaling pathway in IPF, suggesting the Yiqi Tongluo therapy may show the anti-fibrosis effect by regulating TGF-β1/Smads signaling pathway.

      摘要:The purpose of this paper was to review evaluation methods of ultrafiltration membrane integrity in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) manufacturing process.Practicality of direct and indirect integrity test of ultrafiltration membrane was obvious,but the range of application needed further evaluation.At present,membrane integrity could quickly be detected by bubble point method and diffusion flow method,but they can't be monitored during course of using.Exogenous probes were often applied in alternative challenge experiment with high sensitivity,but it was prone to contaminate the medicine.By studying literature information about evaluation methods of ultrafiltration membrane integrity in TCM manufacturing process,there was no method could make requirements of non-pollution,high sensitivity and on-line evaluation.Alternative challenge experiment was the future trend for membrane integrity and endogenous probe played a significant role in promoting technology level of ultrafiltration membrane integrity evaluation.

      摘要:Prenylated flavonoids, as a branch of flavone compounds, is characterized by the presence of the prenyl side chain on the skeleton of flavonoids. According to the prenyl binding sites, number and type of constructions, prenylated flavonoids are divided into 3 prenylated flavonoids, 5 prenylated flavonoids, 6 prenylated flavonoids, 8 prenylated flavonoids, multiple side-chain prenylated flavonoids, pyran ring prenylated flavonoids and lavender prenylated flavonoids. Prenylated flavonoids show a wide range of biological activities, particularly with significant efficacy in improving the differentiation of stem cells, anti-inflammatory and immunoregulation and cardiovascular protection, mitigating metabolic diseases and osteoporosis, neural protection, anti-tumor, anti-aging and reproductive function. There is a significant correlation between the chemical structure and biological activity of prenylated flavonoids. Therefore, the structure-activity relationship of prenylated flavonoids is particularly important, and provides a theoretical basis for the synthesis of new compounds and function prediction.

      摘要:Juglans mandshurica has a high medical value, because its barks, leaves and fruits can be used as medicines. In this study, chemical components of J. mandshurica and bioactivities were reviewed based on the domestic and foreign literatures in the past 20 years. So far, flavones, quinines, polyphenols, terpenoids, volatile oils and other chemical constituents have been isolated from J. mandshurica. According to pharmacological studies, both its crude extracts and specific chemical constituents show good bioactivities, including anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-tumor, antioxidant and antiviral effects. Currently, despite some advances in its chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of J. mandshurica, there is still no intensive study on the action mechanism of its effective constituents. Therefore, further studies will be conducive to developing new medicines and making the most use of natural medical resources.

      摘要:Objective: The chemical constituents of Rubia genus were summarized to provide scientific and theoretical basis for development this genus. Method: The literatures of chemical components study on Rubia genus were collected by retrieval database of CNKI, Wiley Online and ScienceDirect, and were consulted and summarized. Result: Rubia genus were one of natural plant resources of the world with earlier development and application. Furthermore, many pharmacological activities of the genus such as anti-microbial, anti-tumor and anti-oxidant have been reported. Previous phytochemical investigations have described the presence of 175 compounds in the genus, among of which about 70 ones are anthraquinones, along with naphthoquinones, bicyclic hexapeptides, terpenes and so on. Conclusion: Chemical components were summarized to provide scientific basis to develop valuable natural products from Rubia.

      摘要:China is a country with varieties herbal medicines,majority of them have many originals.These medicinal plant always come from a part of the same group belong to the same family,and the other plants of the group is not generally of the 2010 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia,which easily cause confusion on clinical application of Chinese medicine.As a traditional Chinese medicine,Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix is known as its significant effect in therapy of rheumatic or rheumatoid arthrits with muscular contracture and severe joint pain.Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix is a multisource Chinese drug comes from the root of four species.Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix has a larger range of morphological variation,its interspecific characteristics is not obvious,so it's easily lead to market confusion of medicine varieties.This paper focuses on identification methods of Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix and a comprehensive overview of various identification methods researches progress in this herb were displayed.Four traditional identification methods of pharmacognosy and various modern identification methods are compared,their advantages and disadvantages are discussed.It showed that traditional and modern methods should be combined when objective assessment of Chinese herbal medicines.
